Three days in Miami — April 10–12, 2027 — of riding, connection, and community in support of The Phoenix. Here's the weekend at a glance. The full, donor-only itinerary is shared upon registration.
Friday, April 10 — Weekend Warmup
Join us for a relaxed start to the weekend with a leisurely lap of Key Biscayne. We'll meet for coffee and some delicious baked goods (provided by our sponsor Cindy Lou's Cookies) and enjoy a ride led by Coach Gaby, the founder of REIS Cycling, and other special guests.
- Location: Coconut Grove (details shared upon registration)
- Meet: 7:00am
- Ride departs: 7:30am
- Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours
Saturday, April 11 — Public Ride
A 75-mile, open-to-everyone ride hosted by REIS Cycling and The Phoenix. Brisk but approachable pace with a regroup midway at Robert's Is Here.
- Location: Starbucks, 2550 S Bayshore Dr, Coconut Grove, FL 33133
- Meet: 6:20am
- Ride departs: 6:45am
Note: This ride is a good option if you want to add some extra miles to your weekend, or if you have friends or family who want to enjoy a great ride and learn more about REIS and The Phoenix but did not commit to fundraising. This is the only community event during the weekend that is open to those who did not meet the fundraising minimum.
Saturday, April 11 — We Feast
A private donor appreciation dinner at the Key Biscayne Beach Club, featuring stories from The Phoenix community, icons within the sport of cycling, and other special guests.
- Start time: 6:00pm
Sunday, April 12 — We Ride
An exclusive, donor-only, fully supported ride with 40- and 75-mile options alongside former professional cyclist Andrew Talansky and other special guests. The ride includes:
- Complimentary coffee and pastries at the start
- SAG support
- Experienced domestiques to make sure you're never alone out on the road
- A fully stocked mid-ride rest stop
- Meet: 7:15am
- Ride departs: 8:00am
- Location: Shared upon registration
Sunday, April 12 — We Celebrate
A post-ride celebratory meal and closing ceremonies hosted at the beautiful Coconut Grove home of one of our generous donors.
- Start time: Upon ride finish (approximately 12pm)
Note: Our start and finish locations for Sunday's ride are approximately 2.4 miles apart, with parking readily available at both. You're welcome to park at the start and enjoy lunch in your cycling kit before pedaling back to your car, or park near the finish and ride to the start. If you'd prefer to change out of your kit before lunch (or jump in the pool post-ride), we recommend parking near the ride finish — either on the street or at nearby Kennedy Park.
