Dear Friends, Colleagues, Family,
I have signed up for the SwimRun in Austin, Texas, on November 9, 2025, to honor Lee’s memory. This event is also a way for us to show our love and support for Angela and Tom, who lost their beautiful son, and to ensure that his legacy can assist others.
Lee was only 37 years old. He was a loving and kind soul who always helped others, and his loss is deeply felt by my dearest Angela. I am raising money to support The Phoenix, which assists those in recovery.
I will be running approximately 8 miles and swimming about 2 miles across nine legs without stopping or removing my shoes—five running legs and four swimming legs. I started training for this challenge about two months ago. The course is set at Pace Bend Park on Lake Travis, featuring rocky trails, wooded areas, and sections where I’ll swim across the lake before running another leg. I am determined to be ready for this challenge.
Please consider supporting this wonderful organization and always remember Lee Thomas Harrington.
Consider sharing this giving page using the share link above, perhaps with a memory of Lee, on your Facebook. It will mean so much to Angela.
Please feel free also to share my Facebook post:

Thank you all so much.

This isn't just another fundraising campaign. The Giving Bridge is a movement of people who understand that recovery thrives when we build connections. Your bridge crossing—whether it's a famous landmark or a simple footbridge in your neighborhood park—becomes a powerful visual reminder that with support, we can all reach the other side of our most difficult challenges.
Please help me support The Phoenix by making a donation through my page. The process is fast, easy and secure. Thanks so much for your support... and please don't forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating!
