My journey to recovery began after nearly two decades of drinking and using, starting when I was just 14. By the time I got sober on April 13, 2016, I felt completely alone—my addiction had isolated me from family, friends, and life itself. Recovery was daunting, but I found hope in the power of community, especially places like The Phoenix. Surrounded by others who understood my struggle, I started to believe change was possible.
Through The Phoenix and the camaraderie of endurance sports like Ironmans and Ultramarathons, I rediscovered myself. Today, I’m thriving—I have a renewed sense of purpose, belonging, and joy that I never thought possible.
Now, I want to give back. With your help, The Phoenix can offer this same life-changing support to others. Just $66 provides free programming for one person for an entire year.
I personally give $400, which means I support my own access to Phoenix programming + ensure 5 more people have access too.
I’ve set a personal goal to raise $1,060 this month, ensuring access to free Phoenix programming for 16 people. To get there I need:
- 1 person to match my contribution of $400
- 3 to give $132
- 4 to give $66
Together, we'll ensure 16 people have access to free Phoenix programming for 1 year. Join me in fuelling transformation. Let’s build a stronger, sober community—together.
