Ride Classique: Miami 2027
A weekend fundraising experience in Miami bringing together The Phoenix and REIS Cycling. Ride alongside legends of professional cycling, join an intimate dinner, and be part of a community rooted in connection, recovery, and the open road.
Every dollar raised helps The Phoenix reach more people through free sober active programs and events across the country, creating opportunities for individuals to build connections, find belonging, and strengthen their recovery.
At its core, this ride is about building community. The Phoenix was founded on the belief that recovery is stronger together. When you have a community of support behind you, you don’t just recover, you rise.

Over the course of three days in Miami we’ll share meals and miles while raising money to support the free programming The Phoenix provides for those in recovery. You’ll leave the weekend with memories and friendships that last a lifetime — and the satisfaction that comes from riding for a cause bigger than yourself.
Open to riders of all backgrounds and abilities — whether you’re riding for recovery, riding for belonging, or riding simply because you love being on a bike. You are welcome here.

A Friday morning shakeout serves as a warmup for Saturday morning’s flagship ride with REIS, Miami’s premier cycling club, and Saturday night’s exclusive donor appreciation dinner at the Key Biscayne Beach Club. Sunday features a fully supported donor-only ride with the pros, followed by a private brunch to close out the weekend.

The flagship ride of the weekend! A 75-mile, open-to-everyone ride hosted by REIS Cycling and The Phoenix where you'll be joined by former top professionals Tejay Van Garderen, Andrew Talansky, and other special guests — brisk but approachable pace with a few hot spots and a regroup midway at Robert's Is Here. 36 mile (early turnaround) and 64 mile (to Robert's via a shorter route) options will also be available.

Tejay Van Garderen
Tejay van Garderen is one of the most accomplished American cyclists of his generation. A two-time top-five finisher at the Tour de France, he also earned the Tour’s best young rider jersey in 2012. His career highlights include overall victories at the Tour of California and USA Pro Challenge, a stage win at the Giro d’Italia, and two team time trial world titles with BMC Racing Team.
Since retiring from professional racing, Tejay has stayed closely connected to the sport, serving as a sports director for EF Pro Cycling and bringing his insight and experience to NBC Sports’ Tour de France coverage as a studio analyst. He joins the Ride Classique: Miami to share his love of cycling and support The Phoenix’s mission of building community through movement and connection.
Andrew Talansky
Andrew Talansky is a former professional cyclist known for his grit and versatility across the world's most demanding endurance races. A Miami native who discovered cycling at 17 and never looked back, he went on to become one of the top American riders of his generation, earning a Tour de France Top 10, a Vuelta a España Top 5, a U.S. national title and numerous WorldTour wins and podiums. Today, Andrew finds his greatest joy riding for community and causes bigger than himself, using sport as a way to connect, give back and inspire others.
