I started showing up to The Phoenix because someone I loved was struggling and I didn't know what else to do. I thought I was there to help. Turns out I needed it just as much.Recovery doesn't happen in isolation. It happens in a gym at 6am when someone you just met is cheering you on. It happens on a trail when you're too tired to think about anything but putting one foot in front of the other. It happens in a parking lot after a workout when the conversation goes longer than it should and nobody wants to leave.That's what The Phoenix builds. Not just programs. Not just events.
